Médano Beach
The main in-town, swimmable beach in Cabo San Lucas — calm water, beach clubs, and energy. It's where the beach club scene lives. Lively, not secluded.
Lover's Beach & the Land's End arch
Only reachable by water — a short boat or yacht trip from the marina. The arch, the sea lions, and the meeting of two seas make it the iconic Cabo photo. The Pacific side ("Divorce Beach") is not swimmable; the Sea of Cortez side often is.
Chileno & Santa María (Corridor)
Two of the area's best swimmable beaches — protected coves with clear water and good snorkeling. Popular for a reason; go earlier in the day.
Palmilla Beach (San José)
Calm, family-friendly, and swimmable, fronting the Palmilla area. A safe bet for a relaxed beach day with kids.
The Pacific-side beaches
Diamante, Cerritos, and the long Pacific stretches are stunning and dramatic — but the surf and currents mean most are not safe for swimming. Beautiful for a walk, a surf lesson in the right spot, or a sunset. Not for a casual dip.
