Fees & payments
Concierge fees are due at the start of each engagement and are non-refundable once design and vendor outreach have begun. Supplier costs (villas, yachts, chefs, transport, and experiences) are separate and billed per each vendor's terms.
The $500 planning deposit reserves planning time, vendor research, and initial coordination, and is applied in full toward your concierge fee. There is no cost to inquire — the deposit applies only once you choose to move forward.
Retainer hours (for annual clients) cover concierge, planning, and vendor outreach across the year. Overage is billed in 15-minute increments.
Cancellations
Concierge fees are non-refundable once design has begun. Supplier cancellation penalties follow each vendor's individual policy. Travel insurance is strongly encouraged and is not included in any package or retainer; The Baja Concierge is not a licensed insurer. We are not liable for supplier disruptions caused by weather, hurricanes, carrier actions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Privacy & communication
We do not share itineraries or traveler profiles except as needed to complete a booking. We never name a client. We communicate by email, WhatsApp, phone, and scheduled video calls, with in-stay support through a dedicated channel, 7am–11pm.
Licensing
The Baja Concierge operates as a licensed travel advisor through Fora Travel, IATA 33520476. Supplier commissions may be paid to us by suppliers. For real estate, we make introductions only to licensed Cabo brokerage partners; we hold no Mexican real estate license and do not list, sell, or broker property.
