Cabo del Sol Is Where Everything Is Opening — Soho House, Park Hyatt, Four Seasons
Soho Beach House Los Cabos opens in Cabo del Sol this November, next to a Park Hyatt that opened in December and the Four Seasons that was named the world's best resort. What is actually there, what it means for booking 2027, and who each one suits.
For twenty years the answer to "where should we stay in Los Cabos" was Palmilla, Pedregal, or a villa. That is changing in one specific place. Cabo del Sol — the gated stretch of coast on the Corridor, about twenty minutes from Cabo San Lucas — now holds the most concentrated run of luxury openings in Baja.
Here is what is there, what is imminent, and how we are actually using it when we plan.
Soho Beach House Los Cabos — opening November
Soho House is opening its first beach house in Mexico at Cabo del Sol, and it is small on purpose: 15 bedrooms — 12 Casas and three larger Casonas, some with private plunge pools. Alongside them sit residences, from one to four bedrooms, for people living there longer.
What is in it:
- Cecconi's Costiera — the group's Northern Italian coastal restaurant, which is the version of Cecconi's you would want on this coast
- A mezcal bar and a cabaret bar, which tells you the evenings are the point
- A full Soho Health Club — hyperbaric oxygen chambers, red light therapy beds, IV therapies, diagnostics and holistic treatments
- A 50-metre pool, a private beach and a gym
The catch, and it is a real one: this is members-only. There is no walking in, no booking a room as a hotel guest, no concierge relationship that gets you past it. Membership is applied for, and it is approved by Soho House. If you are already a member, your Cabo trip just got a new headquarters. If you are not, this is not the property to build a trip around, and anyone telling you otherwise is guessing.
Park Hyatt Los Cabos — open since December
The first Park Hyatt in Mexico opened at Cabo del Sol on 16 December 2025: 163 guestrooms and 88 suites, on the water, with a 59,000-square-foot wellness and fitness centre that is one of the largest on the peninsula.
Two things were still arriving through 2026 — Silán, the signature restaurant, opened in the spring, and the Araya Spa was phased in over the year. Worth confirming both are running for your dates rather than assuming, if the spa is a reason you are choosing it.
Unlike the Soho House, this one is open to anyone who books it, and we hold advisor relationships there — which means rate parity plus recognition, not a different price.
Four Seasons Cabo del Sol — the anchor
The Four Seasons at Cabo del Sol opened in 2024 and was promptly named the number one resort in the world by Condé Nast Traveler for 2024. It is beachfront, beautifully finished, and strong on golf and service.
It reads a touch more resort than scene — which is exactly right for some groups and wrong for others. If your week is built around the water, the golf and the kids being genuinely looked after, it is the most complete property on this stretch.

- Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos, Autograph Collection — the long-standing property here, and still the best value at Cabo del Sol
- Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos
- Two golf courses: the Cove Club course, a Jack Nicklaus signature design that is private to members, and the Cabo del Sol course by Tom Weiskopf, which is open to resort guests and visitors — so your tee time depends on which side of the gate you are staying on
What this actually means for a 2027 trip
The corridor has a new centre of gravity. Palmilla still wins on the swimmable beach and One&Only's service. Pedregal still wins on privacy and the drive into town. But if your group wants new-build rooms, a serious wellness floor and dinner that is not a thirty-minute drive, Cabo del Sol is now the strongest single address in Los Cabos.
Book earlier than you think. Soho House opening in November pulls attention — and rates — across the whole development for the winter season. The weeks around Christmas and New Year at Park Hyatt and Four Seasons are being taken now.
Decide about Soho House honestly. If you are a member, tell us at intake and we will build the week around it. If you are not, we would rather put you at Park Hyatt or Four Seasons and book you a table at Cecconi's when they open reservations beyond the membership, than sell you a room you cannot have.
